FCWA Stakes & General Notes
Blue Stake will have a maximum of approximately of 50 yards (45.72 meters),
Red Stake with a maximum of approximately 40 yards
Green stakes with a maximum of approximately 45 yards (41.15 meters),
Yellow stakes with a maximum of approximately 35 yards (32 meters), and
White
stakes with a maximum of approximately 25 yards (23 meters) from the target.
Shooting stakes and Classes
Blue – MBO, PMR, PRF, PMF, PSR, SPM, SPF – maximum of approximately 50 yards.
Green – FBO, FBR, FSR, MBR, MCU, MCBH, YMR 15-17, MBF, MSR, and X- BOW – Approx. 45 yards.
Red - AHC (Formally MHC) - maximum of approximately 40 yards.
Yellow – - HC, FHC, HF, SHC, YMR 13-14, YF and FY. - maximum of approximately 35 yards.
White – – CUB , FTRD, LB, PCBH, RU, TRD AND YTRD. maximum of approximately 25 yards. -
Any Distance
– from White Stakes FBH (Future Bow Hunters - Ages 0-8 yrs) - maximum of approximately 15 yards.
1. Stakes farthest from the target must be shot first, unless directed
otherwise by a shoot official.
2. When shooting, the shooter must touch the stake with a portion of his/her body.
3. Allotted Shooting Time: Two minutes for the first shooter in the group. This time will begin when the group in front of yours clears the target, or if the target is clear when your group approaches.
4. The vital areas are
to be open and targets distinguishable.
5. Ranges are to consist of 2-D silhouette or 3-D type animal targets.
Mixture of targets (size, type, etc.) is allowed with official I.B.O. scoring
areas.
